Messy bathroom vanities are an eyesore even if your bathroom costs thousands of dollars! A bathroom vanity speaks a lot about the owner or the one who uses the bathroom and thus you should take time cleaning up and tidying up your own vanity at home. But how do make it clean and organized?
Have some pride in your bathroom. Don’t be a slob. You should take time to clean and tidy up your own vanity!
So here are my top ways get your bathroom vanity clean and organized
Tip 1: Glass Containers
Use small containers where you can place like-items together.
A tall glass could be a great place to put your brushes, combs, makeup brushes and other long items.
Small glasses could hold small things like lipsticks, mascara and eyeliners.
You can use small glass coasters or cups to organize jewelry pieces such as rings, bracelets, watches and necklaces. You will never lose a pair of earrings anymore
Tip 2: Wire it up
Use a wire hook set to hold up light items such as clips, bows, neckties, scarves and small bags.
Place it somewhere near your vanity or on the wall near your mirror.
Hooks are easy to install and have tons of uses. They make for a great way to reduce clutter on your bathroom vanity.
Tip 3: Baskets
Another way to de-clutter is to use small baskets. They can hold items that you usually leave behind on your bathroom vanity.
I’m thinking of things that you usually leave after you are done with them. Like your makeup or after fixing yourself are makeup, skin care products, aftershave, deodorant, combs, brushes, hairdryers, and curling irons and so on.
Baskets are efficient and cheap ways to remove clutter. It’s easy to dump things that you need to keep away so you can organize them later.
Or you can actually choose specific baskets where things should be placed.
Tip 4: Wire Racks
Another great idea to remove clutter and organize your bathroom vanity is to use wire racks.
Wine racks are great for vertically storing various items in your vanity and they are also easy to install.
Set a wire rack up on a wall near your vanity. Then you have a place for all all your rolled towels and face towels, shampoo and lotion bottles, makeup containers, hair clips and so on.
Bathroom vanities are handy and are great storage spaces. But they are prone to accumulating clutter and dirt.
Aside from organizing items found on your vanity, you should also take time to clean and disinfect counter top.
The sink over your vanity should also be cleaned at least once a day to completely keep this area spic and span.
